A Practical Hole Cutter Collection for Workshop Use
Leather, textile, bag, belt and tarpaulin projects do not always require the same hole diameter. Small pins and rivet posts need fine openings, while larger eyelets, cords and connecting components require wider holes.
This collection brings frequently used small, medium and large Padova cutters together in one package. It contains 18 complete cutter sets and one long-handle manual striking tool.
Package structure: 18 complete Padova cutter sets and one complete long-handle manual striking tool. Total: 19 product sets and 38 physical components.

Package Contents
- 18 Padova cutting tools
- 18 matching lower anvils
- 1 long upper holding rod
- 1 lower manual-tool base
Total package content: 38 physical components.
Why Are Two 5 mm / 0.197 in Cutters Included?
The collection contains the PDV00050DEL and KLP0005DEL Padova models. Both prepare a 5 mm / 0.197 in hole, but they are different products with separate model references. They should remain separately identified in the package contents.
Recommended Applications
- Leather and faux-leather accessories
- Bags, wallets, belts and footwear components
- Fabric, felt, canvas and textile surfaces
- Tarpaulin, awning, tent and technical textile work
- Hole preparation before compatible eyelet installation
- Pre-punching for rivets, posts and fine pins
- Cardboard, labels, notebook covers and craft projects
- Sampling, repairs and small workshop production
Hole Cutting and Hardware Installation Are Different Operations
This collection prepares holes only. It does not secure eyelets, snap fasteners, rivets or other hardware to the material.
A Padova cutter prepares the opening through which the tube, post, pin or leg will pass. Final installation requires a separate setting die that matches the construction and dimensions of the selected hardware.
Choosing the Correct Hole Diameter
Do not choose a cutter according to the visible cap or flange diameter. Measure the tube, rivet leg, post or pin that actually passes through the material.
- Measure the outside diameter of the passing component.
- Check the total thickness of all material layers.
- Consider the elasticity and density of the material.
- Avoid an opening that leaves excessive clearance around the component.
- Test the complete application on sample material before production.
Manual Application
When the connection standards match, the cutters may be used with the long-handle manual striking tool included in the collection. Keep the tool perpendicular to the material and apply controlled hammer strikes.
- Select the cutter that matches the required hole diameter.
- Pair it with the corresponding lower anvil.
- Position the material securely over the lower anvil.
- Keep the cutter perpendicular to the working surface.
- Confirm that the connection is fully seated.
- Apply a controlled vertical hammer strike.
- Inspect the opening and material edges.
Connection Compatibility
The supplied cart shows the cutters with a connection option described as 1/4 in and approximately 8 mm / 0.315 in in diameter. Metric and imperial threads may have similar outside diameters while using different pitches and thread profiles.
Do not force unmatched threads together. All cutting tools, lower anvils and the manual striking tool must be ordered with matching connection standards.
Items Not Included
- Hammer
- Manual hand press
- Electric or pneumatic machinery
- Yellow cutting block
- Eyelets and washers
- Snap fastener components
- Rivets and posts
- Final setting dies
- Thread converters and adapters
Frequently Asked Questions
How many cutter sets are included?
The package contains 18 complete Padova cutter sets.
How many different hole diameters are covered?
The collection covers 17 different hole diameters. Two separate 5 mm / 0.197 in models bring the cutter quantity to 18.
Is an 11 mm / 0.433 in cutter included?
It is not included. The collection moves from 10 mm / 0.394 in to 12 mm / 0.472 in.
Are the lower anvils included?
Yes. Each Padova cutter is supplied with its corresponding lower anvil.
Is the long-handle manual tool included?
Yes. One complete KLP00EL01 long-handle striking tool set is included.
Can the collection install eyelets or rivets?
It prepares the holes only. Final installation requires a setting die compatible with the selected eyelet, rivet or snap fastener.
Is a hammer included?
The hammer and application machinery are not included.
Can the cutters be used for production?
The cutters may be used with compatible press or machinery connections. The manual striking tool is more appropriate for sampling, repairs and occasional small-batch work.
