This hammer-operated hand tool is designed for the matching Size 31 aluminum eyelet used on tarpaulins, tents, awnings, banners, vinyl signs, protective covers and suitable heavy textile surfaces.

Its reversible construction provides two working functions. The conical side helps prepare the opening required for the eyelet barrel, while the raised side helps flare and secure the barrel over the matching metal washer.

The tool does not require a hand press, electric machine or pneumatic equipment. It is a practical option for mobile repairs, samples and occasional installations where the workpiece cannot be placed beneath a fixed press.
