9.5 mm Cap Rivet Setting Die

This Cap Rivet Setting Die is made for controlled installation of compatible 9.5 mm / 0.37 in cap rivets. Its upper and lower die surfaces support accurate positioning during pressing, helping create a cleaner and more centred result on leather goods, bags, textiles, canvas and accessory products.

It is a Rivet Setting Die, not a Punching Die. Rivets are sold separately, and the material hole must be prepared before installation.

Match the Actual Rivet to the Die

The 9.5 mm / 0.37 in measurement identifies the intended cap-rivet size group. It does not guarantee that every rivet with a 9.5 mm visible cap will fit this die.

Confirm the real cap profile, reverse-side construction, post or nail geometry and closure method before production. Nail rivets, single cap rivets and double cap rivets can require different setting surfaces.

Upper and Lower Setting Surfaces

The set contains one upper setting die and one lower setting die. The two parts support the cap and reverse component while controlled pressure is applied.

Correct alignment helps reduce off-centre closure and cap deformation. Perform a sample installation with the actual rivet and material before repeated production.

This Tool Does Not Punch Material

Prepare the required hole separately with a suitable Punching Die or punch selected for the actual rivet post, nail or fastening section.

Do not choose the hole size from the cap diameter. The correct hole depends on the fastening section and the thickness and structure of the material stack.
