This manual hand press starter kit gives small workshops, bag makers, sample rooms and independent manufacturers the equipment needed for four practical hardware applications. The package includes one hand press, four matched setting die sets and 675 application components.

You can make 15 mm (0.59 in) fabric-covered buttons, install grommets with a 10 mm (0.39 in) internal diameter and work with two different snap fastener systems. The included dies are matched to the supplied press, removing the uncertainty of assembling the initial machine, dies and components separately.

What Can You Make with This Kit?

Fabric-Covered Buttons

Use your own fabric to prepare Size 24 / 15 mm (0.59 in) covered buttons with sew-on backs. They can be used in garments, bags, textile accessories, upholstery details and sample collections.

Grommet Installation

The supplied die and grommets support applications requiring a 10 mm (0.39 in) internal opening. Material thickness and construction can affect the result, so test the pressure and alignment on scrap material before production.

15 mm Alfa Snap Fasteners

The included Alfa die is matched to the supplied 15 mm (0.59 in) Alfa snap components. Alfa and System 54 are separate fastening systems and must not be mixed.

12.5 mm System 54 Snap Fasteners

The System 54 die is intended for the matching 12.5 mm (0.49 in) cap components supplied in the kit. Use upper and lower components from the same system for a correct assembly.
